Writing/performing duo Tobin Gollihar and Ian Paul Sieren return to the festival for the fifth time with their latest original play, a high, broad comedy about two brothers struggling with their family's legacy. Michael and Gary Fairweather have inherited the family hotel - the once fine, but now down-at-the-heels, Pomegranate Hotel. Michael has run off to pursue his dreams, while Gary has been left to shoulder the burden of running the hotel. Michael returns to find the Pomegranate in a state of utter disrepair, and peopled by a cohort of peculiar characters (all of whom are performed by Sieren and Gollihar), just in time for the arrival of a renowned travel writer, and the county building inspector. This fast-paced, two-man, multiple-character farce explores the nature of family, both logical and biological.
