The Pulitzer Prize-winning Topdog/Underdog by Suzan-Lori Parks will open at the new Chapel Theatre in Milwaukie on November 9th. The original story of sibling rivalry is told with African-American brothers that grapple in a turbulent relationship interrupted with dark humor. Their names, ironically are Lincoln and Booth.
Each brother loves the other, but each wants to be on top. The play explores themes of family dynamics in a compelling fashion.
Co-directed by Bobby Bermea and Jamie M. Rea, this production will be a fascinating evening of theater. This show has adult content and is not recommended for children.
