Now cashiers in box offices and other point-of-sale (POS) locations can process transactions and print tickets and receipts with just a few clicks.
An easy-to-use tool for faster, more accurate service
The new POS/Cash Register software captures information from mag-stripe credit card readers, and links seamlessly to the RoBOT® service for instant on-demand ticket printing. By eliminating the need for manual credit card entry and physical ticket inventories, the updated POS/Cash Register improves the quality of customer service, while reducing the risk of error and theft.
One interface for all transactions
A simple, easy-to-preset POS/Cash Register interface makes it easy to click on the correct date, time and quantity of tickets. Cashiers then select the appropriate "tender type" (cash, check, charge, complimentary, subscriber) — or simply swipe the patron's credit card through a Box Office Tickets supported USB mag-stripe credit card reader. The receipt and tickets will then print automatically.

POS/Cash Register is available at no additional cost to Box Office Tickets clients and is compatible with both Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows. Clients can access the new service immediately, simply by clicking on the new "POS/Cash Register" tab in their existing online boxofficetickets.com® account.
